So... I've been mostly busy working on this, and holy crap, the design part was the hardest part ever. I took maybe 5, or more hours thinking about a design. So this is my costume design for Kasumi for the DOA5 DLC contest.
This design was inspired by Japanese demons/yokai depicted in art. And a little bit of punk.
I thought that some of the designs in the game overall needed something a little different in the creative direction. So instead of making a direct influence on any previous designs, I went and looked at some older influences, with a mix of modern designs. So little bits of art here and there were those idea's; combined into one. And I believe that those are the roots of creativity of this peice. And basically, this is the result.
I also borrowed a female template to only focus ton on the design, and a little less on the actual character. Hope they like it though!

Hey there, my name is RedCaliburn, welcome to my deviantART page!
I'm the kind of artist who's constantly learning many style's of art.
If I had one word to describe my style, it would be 'Creation' because I love making art from scratch and then creating that high quality artwork. I'd like to share my creations to you guys so you can appreciate the many wonders of unique art!
Little bit about me:
I'm a Canadian college student and I've been planning to get into the video game industry. I've been playing video games and drawing when I was at a young age at least 5 years old. Ever since I got into college I'm interested in digital art as well as concept art. Most of my art skills came from both self learning and through school and I plan to continue to keep learning and practicing my art to create high quality and professional looking art to appeal to all audiences.
My most difficult challenge when it comes to art is finding inspiration, but I end up taking things that I just really like and then just going with that idea. I end up ignoring other arts that I have not found anything unusual or interests. So I want to keep my mind open for everything and in return this allows me to explore all arts across any genre, objects, places, and anything that came from reference of the origin creates that piece of artwork.
My second challenge is creating art with mutiple styles which I have been wanting to do for a long time, besides it's fun once and awhile to draw others pieces because it's vastly different from yours with their own rules. I'm slowly taking my time to practice and study the different perspectives of art.
My main goal is to help inspire others to go beyond anything they've seen in my artworks, challenge themselves, never stop learning. I will try everything in my power to do everything that is seen and drawn to spark even a tiny inspiration into you. I'll be happy off of that alone.
